Ginko is looking at buying up more residential warranties, according to Axios.
Ginko, which has been on the search for a buyer for about a year, has been looking for a home warranty company since at least February, when it first began looking for an insurer to purchase its residential product line.
A Ginkos’ spokeswoman told Axios the company is looking into buying the residential warranties.
Gongyeong said it is still evaluating the price of its products, but expects it will be able to secure more than $100 million in financing, Bloomberg reported.
Gangyeong is the latest acquisition to make its way through the market, after Chinese tech giant Huawei was recently acquired by Japanese conglomerate Softbank.
